Don’t Be Stagnated By Your Fear

Fear isn’t simply a feeling, it’s a destroyer. It paralyzes you. It makes you stay up all night either sweating while looking up at the ceiling or pacing back and forth thinking about your life and your dream. Sometimes it makes you feel lonely and makes your lungs quiver. However, just like pain, you can overcome fear. It is certainly not stronger than you are. Don’t let it take control of your life. Your life is in your hands. You run the show. You have the choice to either face it or to let it face you.

Once you are aware of your fear. Experience every bit of it. Do what it tells you not to do. If it is knocking you down, let it. If it is changing you, let it. At least you are doing something and that’s what counts the most. Many people only talk about their dream but never do anything about it, since, they are terrified of facing their fear. How sad would it be to get to the end of your life and realize that you have never really fulfilled what you were supposed to do?

Keep focusing on your idea and keep on moving, even if you feel your heart is ripping off your chest. Will it be easy to face your fear? No. It will be very tough. It will challenge you until you drop on your knees and ask for forgiveness and it will make you feel as if you are going to fall off a cliff. But, that does not mean you will not get through it. At times, though, you will need to take courage and fall like rain.

We all have dreams and we have the power to make these dreams come true. We grew up with a lot of struggles and dramas in our lives and we have been through a lot, just like everyone else. Don’t be stagnated by your fear to not do the things that you can do. The biggest regret in life is not the things that you have done, it is the things that you never did.

Once you face, experience your fear and take action, you will be where you are supposed to be and doing marvelous things!

  1. Awesomely written Oristel and the cure well noted; “It will challenge you until you drop on your knees and ask for forgiveness”. Keep looking up and moving forward and when we fall, fall forward, repeat, repeat…

    1. 🙂 😉 Thank youuuuuuuuuu! It was very hard to write too. I had the idea, but I didn’t know where to start and where to end. Before I published it I had asked myself, “omg does it make sense?” but, I faced my fear and submitted it! LOL! 🙂
